The Dutch Olympic Committee and Sports Federation (NOC*NSF) can depend on braces in the coming years

NOC*NSF will keep on working with Nea International for the next four years. Push Sports braces and Push braces are used by more than one hundred top athletes. We have been working together for many years, beginning at the Olympic games in London in 2012.

Dr Cees-Rein van den Hoogenband

“Our collaborative involvement with Nea is vitally important for our top athletes” says Dr Cees-Rein van den Hoogenband, senior doctor at the elite athletes’ unit at NOC*NSF. “By making available their Nea braces for knee, ankle and wrist support, they provide vital equipment for our volleyball, basketball, korfball and hockey players.”

“Our athletes can obtain new, free braces from Nea three times a year. This amounts to hundreds of braces over a year. The athletes’ experiences with the braces have been very positive over all the years. The same applies to us as medical staff. Nea supplies high quality products that have been scientifically tested. We are really pleased that the braces will continue to be made available to us in the coming years”.

Rob Muller

“We prefer to work within what is known as the golden triangle of sport, knowledge institutions and commercial life”, says Rob Müller, director of Nea International. “When working with the NOC*NSF and their medical staff, Push get acquainted with sports medical knowledge and also receive feedback from our national elite athletes.”

“The feedback we receive helps us to optimise our products. Where we see opportunities for improvement, we push to innovate. This results in gains in providing appropriate protection against sporting injuries and helping people on the road to recovery, for both top athletes and everyone involved in sport.
